I ordered a triggertech diamond 2 stage rem700 for my impact737r build. It came in a white envelope and when I opened it up the trigger was out of its recess and all the way to the side of the package. Did not take a Pic of that position. I slid it back to the recess and noticed a small nick in the anodizing. It was shipped all over the US, north to south to north then back down to me. The package it's self it beat up and crushed on one side. If I went to a store I would not buy it. I filed for a claim as my gunsmith said he would not use it without sending it in to have it checked at triggertech. The place where I bought it have been wonderful they said it wasn't shipped by them and the last trigger I bought from them came packed in a box with alot of foam. Am I wrong for wanting a replacement.

I actually don’t see anything wrong. That is just a white plastic tray, things can slide around. The safety lever looks alright and no visible damage to the body. I have seen worse. They are fairly robust units.

Is the store doing anything other than “being wonderful?” Have you contacted TriggerTech?

You bought a new unit. It should look and function “as new” when you receive it. If you wouldn’t buy it in a physical store, no reason to accept it from an online vendor.

I have no doubt Trigger tech will replace it but was the box sealed when you received it? I ask cause I see no real damage to the trigger, but if the box was not sealed then I might be concerned.

Box was sealed, still is. The online retailer were "nice". They started a shipping claim would not just take it back and ship me a nice new one. So wonderful was a huge stretch. Triggertech would check it out no problem but they said since it's not open try and get a new one first. And the Crack I heard when they threw it on my concrete doorstep was startling. When I realized what it was the driver was already down the street. The bubbles on the inside were all popped. It looks like the trigger body and safety lever were being slammed on everything by the looks of the plastic. Also what looks like a foot print(dark dirt strip on one side) right where the caved part of the package. I worked at ups 20 years ago I know how our packages are treated.

This is one of the most overly dramatic things I've read in a while.

It was out of it's recess, shipped from border to border multiple times. All the packing bubbles were popped!! It was stepped on, kicked, and SLAMED down on concrete. Omg, wouldn't someone think of the poor trigger!! AND then a gunsmith refusing to screw a trigger onto an action without it being put through all the torture of being shipped around again?!?!?!? The horror!!
