Do to injuries i can only shoot from a bench or in the dirt. When laying prone i have a problem with the charging of the rifle. I have been looking at ASA side cocking upper. Any comments on this upper? Good or bad i would like to hear. Thanks. MM

Re: American Spirit Arms

I can only repeat what I have read about them. Most of the reviews I read were some time ago, but the were pretty positive. I considered buying one of the uppers, but just couldn't justify the expense. I put the money towards other parts in My AR build.

If You need the side charging feature though, I'd say they are pretty nice. If You don't mind a reciprocating handle on the right side, Fulton Armory is a nice option too.

Re: American Spirit Arms

If side charge is what you gotta have, dont over look the LAR grizzly.Im to dumb to figure out how to put the direct link on my post but if you punch in LAR on the search engine box... at the top of the list is a thread that might help.
