Night Vision AN/PVS-27 Different Manufacturers?

Looking into the PVS27 it looks like there may be 2 or 3 different manufacturers for the PVS-27. is this really the case?

I see them marketed as Flir, as Morovision, etc, and would like to know if they are all one in the same, or if they are infact different manufacturers and which may have the advantage over the other.

Only ONE manufacturer and that is FLIR (which was OSTI Optical Systems Technology Inc.) in which we get ours. Hope this helps.

VICTOR is absolutely correct OSTI (now a Division of FLir) is the manufacturer of the PVS-27. What your seeing are the resellers of the device.

NOW that being said, there is one "variation" manufactured by OSTI but for a company called Night Vision Depot (One of two Master Distributors for ITT) that has a commercial 9815SLG tube versus the 9815YG Milspec tube. This unit is called the BNS LR and is about $1000 less than the PVS-27. We sell both units and if your interested contact me for the best pricing.
