I wasn't sure if this should be under scopes, observation devices, or here...obviously, I thought this was the best place, so here goes.
As the barrel is not parallel with a scope because the scope is mounted in a 20 MOA base, will that base throw off an angle cosine indicator enough to be significant? Or, because the ACI is mounted onto the same base, does that negate any variance?
If there needs to be a great distance to the target before there is any significant elevation variance caused because the scope and barrel are not parallel, then my skill level may be a greater factor anything caused by lack of parallel mounting.
