Just got a Annealeez loading standard size cases like 308 and various 6mm cannot get the brass to turn consistently! I’ve tried adjusting the wheel to get it closer to the metal frame I’ve put sandpaper around the wheel I’ve tried putting a small bead of rtv rubber around it nothing works! Has anyone else had this problem? If so do you have pictures of a possible fix because I’ve emailed Annealeez a few times without a reply thanks in advance!!

He’s using this:

It almost seems like he’s talking about the first wheel. OP do you have both wheels installed? I don’t know how it’s possible for the case not to turn on the second wheel, what would be holding it fast?

Okay, sorry for that funnin’ Frank. There are a number of great videos on YouTube that might be useful. Try the series by Vaughn. I think they’re great for starters:

Specifically, he talks about adjustments for the wheels after first receiving the unit.

If I could figure out how to upload a video I’d show what’s going on I’m new to snipershide and I’m like a kid in a candy store with so many questions to ask and 100’s of people being able to give their input

Just click on that video link I included in my post. Can you see the play arrow? It will play right here or take you to the YouTube location of that video. If the actual video doesn’t show for you, see if this is better:

Never mind, I just realized that you were taking about uploading your own video. To do that you have to have it hosted somewhere, then link it.

Have you tried watching some of the vids available on the Annealeez?

I’ve watched I feel like every video on YouTube even videos on the gen1’s that don’t have the gate adjustment

Are you putting brass in that is fresh out of the tumbler, I like the above poster don’t know how it is not turning. I will clean the wheels on mine with rubbing alcohol but I have never had a problem.

I had problems off and on like yours. I used a sanding wheel and cleaned off the wheel slowly until the wheel was smooth and as near perfect round as I think I can achieve with a drill press. Then I used 3M spray adhesive and glued on a piece of 100 grit sandpaper. Trimmed it to be real flush and such and have not had a problem since.
