So ever since I started seeing these posts I have wanted to do this. I tried searching for the airsoft stock and got impatient, so I found these used skins for sale and a machinist friend of mine and I got to work! After several hours this is what we came up with!

This is my Marlin XT-22 with an 18" threaded barrel.

Still isn't 100% finished but I wanted to show it off a little! Still needs the buttpad and a paint job. I will upload more pics of some of the build process later!

You are correct the tubing in the front is 1.25" I used a piece of 1.5" square bar for the middle section and milled it down to 1.25". The piece in the buttstock is 1" tubing. All metal is 6061 Aluminum. I will try and post pics of just the chassis later this evening.

Actually the picture was taken before the magazine cutout was milled. And the action sits in a 3/4" channel that runs down the middle of the middle chassis piece.
