This new mandate by the ATF would make many PARTS registered gun parts. Meaning they will have to be bought and sold just like a complete firearm. I read somewhere that there are 17 (I believe) parts on a Glock that will become registered parts and each part will necessitate a background check before you can take the part home. I've even heard that these parts may be serialized too.
