Just ordered a mtr and am wondering if anyone has put the area 419 weighted arca on one? I already have a spare 14" non weighted that I can use but would be nice to get some more weight out front if possible.

I don’t have the weighted rail, just their universal 12”. Area 419 lists the total weight for the tunable rail at 23.6 oz. I’m trying to balance my MTR (with the walnut stock) and it’s going to take 3+lbs to balance. Likely more since the test I did hung weight from the muzzle not distributed along the length of forearm. I need to weigh my scope and see if there are lighter options because I can’t think of a way to get that much weight out front without replacing the barrel or doing something that looks ridiculous.
