And I feel I have to agree with you. For example, 9/11. From physicists to pilots who actually flew that model of jet and one pilot even flew the tail number that was flight 77, it was inside.

Like the jet engine that landed on Griffin Street after UA 175 flew into the south tower at, according to NTSB, 521 knots (slight problem there. 521 knots at sea level is over mach 1 from a commercial jet. The 767 actually has a sea level operating limit of 360 knots. Oops.)
That jet engine had a cooling vanes turbine that was visible in the pictures of the day. It came from a GE jet engine. Why is that a problem? 767s built for UA used Pratt & Whitney engines with a visibly different style of cooling vane turbine, Oopsies...
Flight 93 landed in Illinois. Then it went and crashed in Pennsylvania.
Another problem is the ACAR system. It showed flight 93 still flying after it supposedly crashed in Shanksvillle, Pa, and the pieces picked themselves up entirely and landed at Indian Lake, 8 miles east. My personal theory was that 93 was supposed to hit building 7 at the WTC but an Air Force major, who was mentioned briefly, was cleared hot to bring it down as a hostile. And did so.
So yeah, most of the other nincompoops outside of our country are not nearly smart or equipped enough to take us down. Not even China. It has to be from the inside.

That article source is nearly 2 years old. The US is currently buying oil to replenish reserve. There are no plans to sell any.

They're trickling in some oil into the SPR right now, a whole ~3M barrels so far. The Dallas Fed is laying the ground to never refill it to previous levels, and likely far under those.

It doesn't look like much of a refill , catch 22 of a refill is that any attempt to refil more than a trickle will drive up prices.

Overall, reserve levels have shrunk by roughly 44% since Biden’s inauguration due to the drawdowns, most notably the emergency move to release 180 million barrels throughout 2022 to stabilize the crude markets and lessen the pain at the pump following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
