As the delivery of my Sharp Shooters Supply stock gets near, I am thinking more about bedding. I have some of the Brownells Alum. pillar sleeves, and box of MarineTex. On My 10/22 I used MarineTex only, the MK II is getting pillars. Here is my question. On such a low recoiling gun I am wondering about completely floating the action on two pillars, what do ya think? If it doesnt work out I can always lay some MarineTex in it after. I will be fully bedding the bottom metal on it.

Thanks

Re: Another MK II bedding question.

No way will I do a glue in, unless its a a screw-up. I'm not looking for the ultimate in MKII accuracy, just good consistent performance under varying conditions. Its Vermont, I shoot -30f to 100f, 0 humidity to "muggy" the SSS stock is wood after all.
