Let’s try this again. I accidentally posted this in the rifle scope section about 20 minutes ago.

Hey all, hope everything is going great. I’ve lurked here for a while but finally made the(possibly drunken, maybe) decision to sign up. I will be resisting the urge to jump straight to the bear pit. I actually might have pulled the trigger on signing up after reading a bit of the “thank you president trump” thread. But I digress...

As my title says, I’m an anarchist who is also vehemently anti-war, gun nut, & a free(absolutely free) market advocate. I grew up in Hellinois but hopped around the country for a while and settled on CO after helping some friends move to Denver from southwest FL.

I grew up around guns but didn’t really catch “the bug” until my dad gave me one of his spare 1911’s several years ago. Now about all I do is cruise the interwebs soaking up gun porn/info. I have a R700 in 30/06 that I don’t get out enough, but I would love to change that.

You are in the right place, lurker or otherwise, love my first firearms Dan Wesson Valor and eventually also an ECO both .45’s...tail end of finishing a LMT MWS .308 16 chrome waiting for the glass availability. Then maybe a bolt next ?. Drunken (you...could be me a hair) or not this is IMO the premier gun site. These guys grow on you, about all of them, a WHOLE variety of different types and characters, oh there are characters alright. Fall in when you choose. Welcome from SC. ?

Thanks, I don’t think I’ll have a problem fitting in even though I’ll ruffle some feathers. I’m a mechanic and my circle of friends are, uh, a tad crude on our best days. Sounds like you’ll have a great gun when it’s finally complete. I’ve got so many ideas shuffling through my head, I’d need to win the lottery to get through half of em. And some near the top are matching 10/22’s to build with my boys

Yep woke up to about a half inch and hadn't stopped falling since. Love it, just wish some lifts were spinning.

I need some more snow, I spent all day yesterday prepping my yard and putting down grass seed and fertilizer just so it could get snowed on
