Hello all. I've been thinking about getting into long range shooting for a while. Finally picked up a remington 770 in 300 win mag. I realize that the 770 isn't the best platform, but I'd like to use it to develop my skills before investing in a high dollar piece. Plus, I believe its more about the shooter than it is the firearm.

Either way, I'm looking forward to learning from everyone here. Marine Corps taught me a lot about marksmanship, I'd like to take it to the next level.

Now for my first crazy question. Best glass under $300?

A buddy of mine has a BSA tactical , 6-25x44 or 50 with mil dot for about $250 seems pretty good
Quality and resolution is not like a nightforce , but for the money is good to go !
