Hello Ladies...
I am completely new to long range shooting and to bolt action rifles. Got bored from being home during this Pandemic so I started watching Youtube (big mistake) and came across Ryan Cleckner and Tiborsaurous Rex videos (great videos BTW). These guys got me hooked on long range shooting so I purchased a Savage 10BA Stealth chambered in .308 as a first rifle. Made some upgrades to the rifle, steel scope base, buttstock, grip, bolt handle and placed an Arken EP4 6-24x50 scope on top. I bought this at the end of September and have put 240 rounds down the barrel but only have stretched it out to 300 yards. I have seen some classes this coming Jan and Feb at Max Ordinance that look interesting. Trying to keep it close to driving distance from Arizona.
Anyway, that's a little info on my background. I've already found this site very informative with a lot of knowledge and experience shooters here. I'm looking forward to learning everything I can about PRS. I've also started looking into reloading due to the outrageous ammo prices. However, it seems hard to find reloading presses and primers, lol. Bad timing on my part. Hope to see you guys at one of the matches next year.
