Hunting & Fishing Another nice fall fox pair

It seems like a tradition now, when Im up in my elk hunting country, to shoot Red Foxes. Well, I just got back from scouting, and managed to luck into a pair of them. The .260 is powerful fox medicine:




My brother's "Fox Hound", dont judge him by his terrified demeanor, he is a born hunter. But really, he's quite a softy, he could barely stand next to the fox long enough to snap a pic.

Nice double. The dog is just scared because of the 260 barrel pointing in his direction

It was interesting, there may be some truth to that. He was very cautious, as if to say; "this must be what they do to dogs who shit on the sofa" and since he'd puked in the truck on the way up, he knew he was on thin ice. Shortly after this pic, he snuck off through the sage brush, and skulked his way back to camp.
