Rifle Scopes Another optics quandary

I am in need of new optics for a bolt gun. In my mind I am thinking Nightforce 3.5-15X50 with the MLR or Leupold 4.5-14X50 with the TMR. As there are no stocking Nightforce dealers in my area I don't have the ability to compare the two scopes side by side. (I currently have a Leupold 3.5-10X40 mounted on an SPR and I am happy with it.) Most all of my shooting will be within 500 yards. Just HOW much difference, if any, is there between these two scopes?

I should say...there is a cost difference between the two in the neighborhood of $400.00.

I know these questions get asked alot but I appreciate those folks' opinions who have used both optics.

Either one will fit the requiments that you have mentioned. I have looked at them side by side and own the Leupold Mark 4 4.5 to 14. With that said I just ordered the NightForce. I think the NightForce is better made then Leupold. However, Leupold is much more reasonable with regard to price.

In Short both will fit your need.
