Another plane crashed, but in Canada this time

Must be DOGE at fault again.

Paramedics told that up to eight people were injured, while the Association of Flight Attendants confirmed that there's been no fatalities.

That's what they get for booing our national anthem... .

Someone at Boeing saw that and pushed the secret 'wings fall off' button on the hidden console of his desk.

Sirhr
Except that aircraft is made by Bombardier....but which is Canadian. You probably already knew that. lol

Apparently the FO was female and was the pilot flying this leg.

Interesting. I was flying last week with a relatively new FO who had been at a regional airline previously. He talked about several incidents that almost became accidents due to a lack of piloting skills in the cockpit and was surprised there had not been any accidents in years. Now this. I was personally riding in the cockpit on two separate occasions with a different regional airline and both times the FO’s had no business being in a jet; at least not yet, they just could not stay up with the plane and it was obvious that they could only be trusted to fly when the weather was anything but perfect. The captains were skilled and obviously irritated with the lack of skills the FO’s displayed. You have to get those skills somewhere, but it’s not ideal to be getting them with that many people in the back. That video is pretty telling. Looks to generally be a gross lack of skill and experience led to this accident, but time will tell. At least there were no fatalities, this time. Supposedly the wind was gusting to around 40 knots. Those conditions should have led to the captain making a judgment call on who was actually going to be landing the plane; they chose poorly in my opinion.

As far as the FO being female, in my experience, the females I have flown with have been very good, but by the time they are in a cockpit with me, they are very experienced.
