I actually prefer unsweetened tea myself, and I bring along a small container of 100% Pure Sucralose (*not* Splenda) to re-sweeten.

My overweight (died of Diabetic coma rest her soul) straight Southern Eastern NC Memaw made tea with 2.5 cups of sugar per gallon. You could stand your spoon up in it. I learned about my 20's that I would die early if I didn't stray from the doctrine. Unsweet for me as well Sirhr. Took some suffering to get there but damn, when I taste the old school I am shocked how oversweet it is......but I still got to have ice and couldn't give up pig skins, souse meat or chitlins.

We got 3 kinds well maybe more
