I have a 1-8 30 cal blank. it will finish at 26'. going to have it made into a bighorn SR3 prefit, wyatt bld extended box. Was thinking of doing a 30 nosler with a longer freebore. Only gonna shoot the 215 bergers and maybe the 230 Atips. This will be a ELR/LR hunting rig. Any reason I should look at any of the other 30 mags? I know 1-9 would be better but the 1-8 is what I have. What would you build and why? I live in the desert, hot and high elevation 3500 up to 9K.
