So I'm getting serious about getting a suppressor now. I've done some research and have it somewhat narrowed down but want some opinions on my specific application. I've narrowed it down between the rugged suppressors surge 7.62 and tbac ultra 7. It's for a precision 6.5 Creedmoor bolt gun. My rifle came from accurate ordinance with a rugged suppressors brake and they endorse them pretty highly. Rifle is used for primarily target and PRS type matches. Just a big purchase that I'm stuck with after the fact so wanna get it right first time around. So which would y'all choose and why.
Thanks,
David

TBAC, because the cans are awesome and the customer service is top notch. If there is ever a problem Ray and the guys will take care of you.
Im already kind of leaning towards tbac anyways because of weight, length, and reputation. I was hoping ppl would recommend rugged just BC they're cheaper but I'd definitely rather buy what will make me happiest. Kind of stuck with it once I get it lol

You're stuck with it and will be waiting a long time before you can go pick it up. Get the best.

Exactly my thoughts. I try to save money where possible but idk if this is the place to try and save. I've heard good thing about rugged but none of them pertained to precision rifle stuff. Want something accurate with as little poi difference as possible. Shot a rifle with an ultra 7 this weekend it was pretty awesome.

TBac. Have 7 of their cans, all are fine. I had two issues (not their fault) - a bad barrel thread causing a baffle strike, and a Barnes Varmint Grenade that grenaded in my can (didn't like the velocity and fast twist of a .243). Both were fixed in a very timely manner, didn't miss any shoots/events.

Well guess my mind is made up. Tbac it is. Thanks guys for the feedback and opinions

So now that we have a consensus on rifle, what about pistols. Thinking of a sico hybrid vs liberty mystic. Also rugged obsidian.
I have a sig 7.62 and love it. Dead air mask on the way.
Need one more to round out the team
Any thoughts?

Yeah, and also Ray is on here all the time. He's an honest and reputable man too and won't sell you up, he'll tell you what they can and can't do. I'd consider the 9" if you want pure performance and length isn't too big of a deal though, that 9" is still super light. He makes a 6.5 specific can too. The 2" isn't that much in length but it increases the performance a fair bit. A .30 can will also work fine if you want to use it on more than one host. The thread over brakes are short, they work and they also mount the can snugly almost like a plain thread on. You can probably sell your other mount online.

If it's your first can, I'd add a .22 can to the order too if you can or ASAP... TBAC makes a good one, so does Sico. I like the Liberty Regulator, it's cheap and one of the best, super simple with 3 parts and easy to service, almost no FRP (with 1cc water NO FRP and NO noise). Has all the features you'll want. You'll use the .22 can more than anything else likely and they have the best performance by far. The Regulator and a PPK/S and the only sound wet is the action; dry and it has a bit of a puff. Better than Hollywood quiet.

Centerfire cans are certainly nice but they aren't nearly as quiet or as fun as a .22 can is. Hosts are cheap too. Just my .02. Good luck, you can't go wrong with a TBAC.

Definitely want a 22 can. My plan right now is a 30 cal for rifles, 22 can, and a 45 can for pistols. That'll be a ways out but it'd cover all my bases.

TBAC for the win on bolt guns. you will never regret that purchase. rugged cans are great as well, but I'll give tbac the edge.

I have plenty in stock as well as 22 cans if you need pricing.

Thanks for the recommendation, but our Hyperion rifle silencers aren't available on the civilian market yet. I strongly recommend TBAC Ultra series for OP's intended use. And Hansohn Bros is a great place to get it.

The Rugged can is good but it's built for a different purpose.
