Looks like it was a little rear heavy on the bag off the barricade. I'm surprised it didn't balance with all those weights.
I'd still want a thumb tab coming off the back side of the bolt body but offset lower just off the chassis frame. Seems the actuator was too far forward for his thumb so he'd short stroke it, which is very rare that this happens with my 1827F.
With Lapua Polar Biathlon ammo, because of the shape of the bullet I suppose, my 1827 feeds better and there is less pressure needed to close the bolt. With other ammo I have to slam it forward harder but no big deal because that's fun to do and these like to be ran fast anyway.
The Fortner action is a real winner in a lot of ways.
