I acquired this rifle earlier this spring knowing it was only a good price at the time but not really exactly what I have a use for and I had a Manners LRH non-minichassis that I was kicking around selling so once I looked at the logistics of milling the stock and bedding it for the Anschutz, I held my breath and started cutting. Took me about 45min on the mill to get it real close, and got the pillars ready. Now I have to drill for the pillars and epoxy them and begin the wait

As far as the barrel, I wanted to try something new and with a little planning, I had my gunsmith cone the breach on a Kidd stainless barrel and with 50 rounds thru it, I found it really really likes SK and once the weather gets better, I have some center X to try.

Fun tinkering project, I don't have any reason to no think this will be a great plinker even if it is only a single shot

You have me thinking...
I have an Anschutz 2013 in the Aluminum Free Rifle stock and a Manners MCST that I'm not using.
Might make a fun and (relatively) simple project!
Are you running pillars and no other bedding or glass bedding as well?
I was thinking of glassing in the mag well, skipping the pillars and just glass bedding the big flat 2013 action.
Any thoughts on that?

I'm going to try my best to run pillars and I have a BDL floorplate that is M5 so I can hide the rear 2 screws. Other than that, I'm going to bed the whole rest of the action in. So far, it's been pretty easy!
