Anschutz 64 silhouette sling stud install??

Just picked up an early model Anschutz 64 silhouette and would really like to shoot it off a bipod.
what say you fellow hiders?

Does it have the rail inlet into the forend? If so, Midway was carrying adapters for them when I bought my 64 a couple years ago. Be certain it will fit the Annie rail if you go that route.

No, unfortunately it does not have the rail. I have a 64R that does have the rail you mentioned.
Installing a rail is my other option but it would require inletting and I do not have the equipment or experience.

Anyone have any advice?
I don't know if I would ever sell it but I just don't want to ruin the value of it.

Drill a hole and mount a stud for a Harris bipod or drill two holes and mount a picatinny rail for an Atlas bipod.
