I'm building a .308 using an Aero M5E1 builder set and found Schuyler Arms Co and they have the Aero buffer kit and LPK cheaper than anyone else... I have no experience with then and wanted to see if they were good to go before i placed an order. Appreciate the feed back guys!

I have had very good luck with them, bought several Aero lowers, great price, quick shipping. I would buy from them again but I think I have probably maxed out my number of ARs for a while.

I like Aero enhanced receivers, handguards and matching LPK with a Toolcraft BCG from WC Armory, AR15Performance barrels and sometimes super bolts, also Criterion barrels and I'm trying a Wilson Combat. Strike Industries has some neat parts I like. Lastly, a budget Rise Armament or Larue MBT trigger rounds out most of my value AR recipe.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll give them a shot!

Flyer- I've already got a barrel picked out but I've heard a lot of good things about the Toolcraft BCG. Still thinking about the Trigger and I may go on and give the MBT a try.

Ordered an Aero M5 LPK and carbine buffer kit for $90.. i can't find them that cheap anywhere else. Trigger and grip will both go eventually but for now it'll work

received my order yesterday so I was super excited when I got home from work this morning and planned a coffee / build time. Only problem is they sent me the LPK w/o fire control group and grip but charged for the complete LPK. I've got an email in to them so I'll see what happens. kinda bummed but as long as they make it right i'll get over it.

For people building large frame ARs, POF currently has 15% off and they sell a reasonably priced 7 position "AR10" length anti-tilt buffer tube. Use one of their buffer springs and a standard AR15 size carbine buffer for a quality but reasonably priced carbine setup.

Also "AR10" length is the same length as Vltor A5 so if you want to try out that type of buffer in an AR15, it will work for that too.

here's the pics of my build and still waiting for a scope.

The barrel is a BA premium 20" 1:10 twist. The barrel alone is almost half of the weight on the entire rifle and hope that it will help in stabilization when shooting.

I'm checking on a Vortex Viper HS 2.5-10x44 and waiting for sale time. Any experience on this scope?

I haven't used the Viper HS but I've used the PST, strike eagles, diamondback and crossfire. I think the Viper all use the same glass but i could be wrong. I think it's decent but I haven't used any real HIGH end or mid range scopes before.

I think Cameralandny has a Steiner on sale for $800.

It sounds very nice but a bit heavy.

I'm tempted but haven't looked too close because I've been spending too much lately.
