just curious if any one else has the same HK interest as me in this 45acp ( or 9mm or 40 ) sub gun ? if so i have a few questions for you.b

do you run the B&T muzzle break ? if so is it the bird cage or 4 prong and how do you like it ? do you notice a difference in recoil ?

do you use single pt sling or the factory hk sling ?

what do you use for illumination ?

ever have any problems such as ftf fte or ???

do you run a suppressor and if so from which maker ?

hmmmm well i think this just about covers it, thanks in advance

well i dont have a usc, yet but i did pick up a special weapons psp. wich is mp5 internals in a polymer reciever, similar to a ump with the folding stock and all.mine is 3lug not flanged, it has pic. rails on both sides if i need a light, i use a single point sling on it right now, but i havent found one to fit it, and i run a trident 9 suppressor on it with the 3 lug mount.

I got a USC/UMP, takes grease gun mags and runs like a top. real accurate too...

lots of fun, just wish i could cut it down and supress it

Re: any hk usc/ump guys out their ?

yeah, i made sure it ran before i bought it. even runs full auto without a hiccup, suprisingly enough it will pretty much eat anything i feed it. my buddy has a post sample mp5sd and it will only runn 15grn for about 300rds before it starts having problems and needs to be cleaned.

hmm thats vary weird...... my friend as an mp5sd and i ran mag after mag after mag threw it no problem

younggun22 - why dont you iam doing mine in a week or so

No UMP but I carry a MP5/.40 at work. semi/ 2 rnd burst/ auto.

It has the Surefire handguards that have the pressure switch built into the handguards. We also run KAC Navy suppressors. They shoot like a dream just glad I'm not on the receiving end of one. I also run an Eotech on top. The 511.65 (type N battery)

Re: any hk usc/ump guys out their ?

i have enjoyed the 10mm mp5 never shot one but they look pretty sick

do you run a muzzle break on your mp5 ? and if so do you notice a difference in recoil ?

Re: any hk usc/ump guys out their ?

No break on it. its a LEO weapon so its SBR and Auto. The only thing on it is a thread protector for the suppressor. Its not the 3 lug system its just a good old fashon threaded suppressor.

Its been in service for over 10 years and will see another 4-5 as long as we can keep the little parts on hand.

was on the vary edge of selling it, and after a few friends gave me some good advice and after i started shooting it again i decided that guy has different views then i do so. i fell back in love with the ump and bought a few trick add on's for it and am glad i kept it, no worries now

Got a 45 ump conversion and still have the 16" barrel. I am going to get another 16" barrel and cut it down when I do the sbr and thread it for the suppressor with the same thread as my USP tactical 45. I have a friend with the same setup and I have used real UMP 45's with suppressors and his wit hthe treaded suppressor. The threaded is much better in my opinion than the factory suppressors plus I can use it on my pistol. The threade suppressor is also much much cheaper for me to buy as a civilian.

Seriously, screw the functionality illustrated by someone (cgmaster) with hands on experience.
It's how badass it looks that really matters.

As far as brakes on the UMP.
I shot a rental UMP while on vacation in Florida.
I cannot imagine a need for a muzzle brake on semi auto.
