Rifle Scopes Any info on this?:Trijicon 6x48 Acog Machine gun o

Anybody use one of these? I am thinking about trying an ACOG 6x48 on my POF 416 carbine. I don't really like the idea of a fixed 6 power on a carbine but the size of the optics objective and size of glass would lead me to thinking that it might be alittle better on field of view than a typical 6X scope. Any info or opinions and or test on this optic??? Thanks...................SmokeRolls

Well. I found out about field of view... Not so great for the 6x @ 100= (17'). The 4x32 has 36.8 @ 100

FYI while it is a ACOG,its on roids(all pumped up,its huge) but it is badass.out of place on a poodle shooter. perfect on a m2,107,etc..

I love larger glass and more light whenever I can get it but I love field of view as well... I wish Trijicon made a 4X48...That would be awesome....and with about 40' field of view...SmokeRolls

I have one here, it is really big, too big for an AR type rifle

Thanks, guys, LL...Ohhh well... LL what size and power ACOG have you found to be the perfect match for a carbine flat top? I am considering puting it on my POF 16" which has a VLTOR CASV (Which raises rail up just a touch) and I am running a Magpul stock. I would appreciate your opinions...Thanks..

I have used the ACOG you have listed there, with the Doctor on it and it is very good... we just changed the ARMS mount to a GDI and use it that way.

The GDI RCOM B Model will bring it up over your BUIS and give you the proper eye relief. See Triad Tactical for a GDI mount and ask for the B Model not the E
