Any issues with ability to zero Ruger RPR rimfire relative to 30 MOA rail

I am setting up a rpr rimfire for my grandson. I am concerned that I will not be able to set a zero inside 100 yards with it coming equipped with a 30 MOA rail. Anybody have an issue

Getting that zero inside 100 depends on the scope you're going to mount . . . huh? And just how far under 100 yds you're talking about. Typically, one is zeroing at 50 yds and there are scopes that can handle a 30 MOA rail and do that (e.g. https://vortexoptics.com/diamondback-2-7x35-v-plex-moa.html )

And if there's a scope you want to mount that can't handle the rail, you can always shim the front ring or buy adjustable rings like what Burris produces.

Yes, I had problems with 2 of my 3 (1") scopes.

When I first got my RPRR I just wanted to get the gun up and shooting to see if had any inherent accuracy so I had 3 older 1" scopes laying around. 2x6, 3x9 and a fixed 4.
I actually needed the 3x9 to work as I need at least 9x for my old eyes to get a tight group @ 50 yards, plus I have the 3-9 objective lens parallax adjusted for 50 yards on that scope.

Tried using low scope rings that were already on the 3x9 scope but couldn't get a 50 yard zero (well sort of couldn't anyhow). I could j-u-s-t get a zero @50 yards but was so far to the end of travel that I couldn't get the windage to center up on target.

Same with the 2x6, but on this one couldn't even get a 50 yard zero.

4x worked OK but at a 50 yard zero not much adjustment left.

I went to 1.54" high rings and got the 3x9 to work, the 4x obviously worked, but the 2x6 was right tight to the end or travel so it just works but nothing left for windage corrections.

I called Ruger for help but they told me to pound sand as the "RPRR was not designed to shoot at less than 100 yards". But Ruger rep boldly told me that I could 'buy' additional parts to get it to work at under 100 yards.

I ended up removing the 30mm scope from one of my center fire guns to get it zeroed and shooting POA/POI. (I didn't want to order a new scope for this RPRR until I found out if it was worthy of an expensive scope).
