There is enough macro economic risk in the equity markets right now why take on company specific risk? BA will not go away due to "national security" factors, but I think there will be much better entry points in the future. I'm just a farmer, but it looks like a hot mess to me.

My brother retired from Boeing several years ago. He worked at the headquarters in Chicago and relayed to me that they have fucked away their retirement program, and basically are getting rid of anyone with experience in order to get cheap new-hires. No corner too small to be cut.

I'm sure that has not affected quality in any way, shape or form
