Rifle Scopes Any one used the Lecia 1600?

Just wondering if any one has used the Lecia 1600.
I'm in the market for a new rangefinder, and thought about a Sarwo.
But now, I see the Lecia 1600.
I have never used a Lecia 900 or 1200. Or a Sarow, for that matter.
Just wanted to see if anyone had any input on the 1600 compared to the
Sarow. Was going to get one or the other in July, if they are any 2-b
had.

I have a Leica 1600 and love it. I bought a 800, 10 years ago and it still performs flawlessly as well. I think for the money you can't go wrong with Leica.

My buddy has a Swarowski 8x30 and it is a great tool as well. But for clarity and ease of use I couldn't tell any difference and for another $300 more for the Swaro, I went Leica.

i have the swaro and while it ranges really good, i am interested in the new ballistic software in the 1600.

The Balistics trajectory and measurent of angle temp and Baro. Pressure is an added benefit on this unit that provides an easy way to avoid one other tool, or two. Although I have not tested it 100% due to limited range and NO elevation change in flat chested NE. But all else is good to go, I have Nightforce Balistics program and with my range of only 800 yards now they coincide perfectly, they are hard to find in some areas now but thanks to a good friend that is the in the field testing of new upcoming products got me one soon. Personally I recommend all the way but some people may be more annal about things than I!

So you got the Leica 1600 early for product testing? Because i didnt think they were out yet. I just want to know if the laser is as powerful as the swaro....

where did you get it?? ive been waiting to get one but there not even out yet is what ive been told

Pretty sure they are not out yet. I talked to them at the NRA show and they didn't even have a final production sample yet and said that it would be at least August before we saw any.
