Hey does anyone know of a place to shoot rifles within about an hour of Tampa, Florida? Going to visit my niece and was looking to take her shooting, would like to include rifle if possible.

Head down to Manatee Gun Range in Myakka City. It's a little bit more than an hour, but it's worth it.

Outdoor range, plenty of room to spread out. You can shoot anywhere from 15 yards out to 1000 yards.

+1^^^ haven't shot there in a while but the guys that run it are good people.

Manatee isn't too bad. I used to shoot out there a bit when I was in FL: only downside as it is with most other 'staffed' ranges is that some of the RO's can be total retards.
