Any Ruger American Target .22 reviews?

Has anyone gotten their hands on one of these?
I had been looking at essentially the same model but with the synthetic stock and was wondering what the consensus is. I can not find one in stock.

If it shoots as good or better than the regular American, it's a winner. especially with eley target yellow box. i regard the regular just a shade below my CZ455, and absolutely wonderful in a Boyds walnut prairie hunter
