Well, my daughter is nearly 1. I figure it's about time I find a place to shoot across zip codes. You know... just so i can tell some sleaze ball that I can and I have!

Anyone know of a range or land that changes zip codes? Has anybody actually ended someone from another zip code? I mean, it really doesn't sound that scary and seems like a logistical nightmare to get the wrong guy in the right place to make a shot like that happen...who knows.. but if it's been done then its definatly scary.

I'm willing to drive 24hrs to get to the right place.

I believe there is a story of a police officer making a shot from one state to another. I was told second hand so don't know how true it may be.

All the time. I live in the KC area and the center of population is near the state like. There's a State Line Road. The actual state line moves around so sometimes goes through people's yards, and there are murders on a single property in a city that happen in two states.
It's not that big a deal, just someone declares who the lead is, everyone else cooperates and makes sure all paperwork is done right.

The farm I deer hunt on has a county line/zip code line running through it. So, I have actually killed a deer in a different county/zip code.
(Actually, probably not, because the line is on a road, and we don't shoot across it...:censored:)

Not to name drop because I really dont know the guy all that well but when Rob Furlong would come into the cabelas I worked at as the leupold rep we would ask him to tell the story of his long shot in Afghanistan. Wonder if they have zip codes/postal codes there?

The Leupold Rep @ Cabela's? Wow. Hey, any chance you can get me smoking deal on a Mark 5HD 5-25x56? I'm a little cash strapped right now, but good for it. Ask anyone. I'll even toss in a video of me shooting across zip codes with some really cool rifles and dang good reloads.

Ha! Sorry maybe miss read or miss wrote but I'm not the leupold rep Haha if I was I'd give them out like candy bars. I was just out of Highschool at the time working behind the gun counter.

Is there some kind of welfare discount people aren't telling me about? I need a new scope too and I'm willing to live in a trailer to get it!

Peacemaker National Training Center sits right on the state line between Virginia and West Virginia. One of their public ranges allows you to shoot across state line. Take a look on map.

Never thought much about that as I live less than 1000 yards from the AL - Ms line. Not a range but can do that shoot anytime. Nothing but a creek and some woods separating the two and the owner of the land and myself have a few cows together. He has been trying to sell me the land on the Al side but it’s all swamp.
