Re: Anybody out there shoot a Winchester STEALTH 1?
I had an original Stealth in .308 when it first came on the market. Win. M70 push feed action, 26" heavy CM barrel, HS-P stock with the recoil lug bedded in some kind of synthetic compound from the factory. It shot very well indeed. The only reason I sold it was to help raise money to pay for the M40A1 that Terry Cross was building for me at the time.
I probably should have kept the Stealth and found some other way to pay for the KMW rifle. I still have Winchester's earlier version of the Stealth, the Heavy Varmint, which is pretty much the same thing only it came with a stainless barrel. Mine is a .223, and it REALLY shoots. I won't make the same mistake - this one's a keeper!
