Patriots, by James Rawles.....I've read this book twice and it's got my wheels a'turning on disaster situations. Just wondering if somebody here has read this book also and became more aware of possible life altering things can happen anywhere....it's really got me to thinking about preparation.

Preps are not a bad thing...

You won't find any freeze dried food to be shipped for 3-4 months. The gubmint just ordered a shit-ton... That in itself makes you wonder.

Start thinking water, protection, Shelter, warmth, and longevity.

Learn to garden, learn long term food storage.

    Read it, liked it.

The wife and I are very prepared, but we keep improving.

The goal for us isn't just to survive, but to thrive. Along the way, we plan to help others, and enjoy life during the collapse.

Our plan in the end as well...

We've only been preparing for about a year.. as funds allow we progress.

that being said, if you only like realistic type books, alot of this book is far fetched.
but good read none the less. </div></div>
