Anybody running a MIAD on a POF P-308?

I don't particularly like the ERGO grip that came on my P-308, so I'm going to change it. I really like the Magpul MIAD, but I know they're not quite right for some 308 AR's. I know they make the grip wedge, but only in black. I'm planning on Cerakoting my rifle in FDE anyway, so I'd like to go with the FDE MIAD. I've searched everywhere, but these rifles aren't terribly common so no info on using this combo specifically. I've heard DPMS users say that the MIAD fits their rifles fine with the smallest backstrap with no modification. I DO NOT want to modify the rifle in any way, it seems silly to modify a $2500 rifle to accept a $25 grip... I don't have a problem with modifying the grip to fit the rifle however if that's what needs to be done.


With that said, does anybody out there with a P-308 have a MIAD on theirs, and how does it fit? Does it hold the detent in place like it should, and is there a huge gap? Does the grip wedge fit this weapon and should I go with that and just accept that it's black only? I've got an email in with Magpul asking whether or not they have plans for the wedge in different colors, but haven't heard back in the last week since I sent it.

<span style="font-weight: bold">EDIT FOR REFERENCE:</span> Spoke to POF-USA and they said their P-308 lower is designed to work with ANY mil-spec (I didn't know there was such a thing) AR-15 grip.
