Its an aperture inside a scope cap. I was geeking out on 3D printed apertures and it got me thinking that would be badass scope cap. Well somebody beat me to it.

You have guys that won’t wear eye protection because they don’t want cheap lenses between them and their high dollar scope. Now you want to put lenses and light reduction devices in front of all of those expensive coatings? GTFO…

1) No interest
2) Even if I was interested it wouldn't happen because...

1) I don't do business with Optics Planet
2) Even if I did business with Optics Planet the likelihood of getting an order placed and then actually receiving the product is damn near zero.

Sorry, but I can't take them seriously simply due to Optics Planet.

What does OP have to do with it.

Still think it's a novel idea to have scope caps that don't flip.

Pretty not to have to flip a cap and have it in the way but protect your glass and get anti glare. Looks like it might be thin enough to leave it on and run with a clip on too. That would be sweet. I hate having to take my sunshade and/ARD off to use a clip on.

Like the vast majority of firearms industry stuff, this thing will succeed in its primary function of separating people from their money. Any other function is dubious.
