I do alot of buying and selling over the internet on various forums and was searching around for ways to pay people. Did one purchase through gunpal years and years ago and luckily didn't get burned like some. That was the only one I did through them though. Pretty much have had to resort to discreet paypals and USPS MO's. Ran across pistolpay recently though and it seems intriguing. Buyers and sellers split the fees and the money gets held till a buyer receives their stuff and everyone is gtg. Anyone else use this service? If so, what are your thoughts?

I ran across this today in an article and searched it here. I have not seen it in any listings on the hide but will look into it. It looks like it includes some protection buy holding funds until item is received and inspected. It uses bank account of CC to process funds. Here is the link to their site: Pistolpay HomePage It has tools for creating banners and links for your websites.

There are fees involved and depend on the payment type: 2.7% from buyer and seller for CC, and 1.6% for bank transaction. The other caveat is it must be delivered to a dealer.

Anyone tried this service out since the original post in '12?
