Anyone can buy guns, no questions asked

Re: Anyone can buy guns, no questions asked

Yes, this annoys me also. If you look at it from a legal standpoint, the "reporters" and their "security experts" broke the law regarding Straw Purchases. Even if they turned them in to police for destruction (?) afterward, how are civilians authorized to perform Sting Operations with impunity? Can some LEO here explain? If the sellers asked for proof of Az residence, they complied with the letter of the law. Those that didn't are probably (at least) being asked A LOT of questions, if not waiting to post bail. Most local forums here stress that anyone doing a FTF sale demand to at least see a valid Az drivers license.

One more misguided, grandstanding media attempt at misinformation and scare tactics without any facts to back up their unfortunate actions. I had to change the channel when they gave that IDIOT Bloomberg airtime!!

Re: Anyone can buy guns, no questions asked

Know how the govt knows that bad guys can buy guns? They fuckin sell the guns to the bad guys and they have receipts to prove it!

Oh the bullshit.... I would love to have seen a video of them shooting that at say 500 yards. They wouldn't be able to hit the side of the barn. Or better yet, it might not have ever worked (research Vulcan's reputation and you'll understand). I bet the seller could have told them the "street price" is 20k and they would've paid it.

Thank God they don't know about the Anzio 20mm or 20x50. The local pharmacy would've had to clean up a fair amount of feces from them shitting themselves.

See, this is where hippies screw up. While I'm sure the "made to inflict serious internal damage" line is to scare the piss out of me, it's actually a selling point. If I get a Glock, it's going to be for personal defense. If I then get attacked, I don't want to pull the trigger to give the attacker a sense of shame and self loathing. I want them to be damaged seriously. Crazy idea....

Idiots, why do liberals think if you make a new law, it will stop criminals because they will follow it. Guess what, put a ban on private sales, or require a background check, and criminals are just gonna keep on selling them privately and ignore the law, and the amount of straw purchases will go up.

Re: Anyone can buy guns, no questions asked

Criminals are criminals because they break the law. If this isn't barney level enough liberals, go back to school.

These nuts will stop at nothing to take away every freedom we have. It is written that we the people should keep and bear arms for many purposes but the one I'm hinting at has to do with oppression from a government. Our forefathers saw this coming.

Re: Anyone can buy guns, no questions asked

I think the general non - gun population just need education about what's what with firearms. This way they can see through the BS.
A while ago we were at my mom in law( a conservative republican) , who knows nothing about guns and thus is terrified by them. She proceeded to tell us how a house down the road got raided and they found "semi-automatic weapons". Heaven forbid!
I proceeded to explain that being semi auto had no bearing on its " lethality" or danger or what ever, you could see a little light go on in her head. She is getting better with the idea of guns now and is learning that not all of us are crack dealing murderers.

Re: Anyone can buy guns, no questions asked

I can't believe the ignorance involved in this.

The sad part is how much damage this will do. My friend showed me this this morning since he knows I'm a 'gun guy'. He asked if I knew you could buy weapons that shoot helicopters down and other crazy things without even a background check because of a 'loophole'.

Obviously, after watching the video and explaining the situation to him he saw how retarded the report was. But without the other side of things explained, h thought it was a 'real issue'

Re: Anyone can buy guns, no questions asked

I love how they show all the black "Automatic" rifles.

Re: Anyone can buy guns, no questions asked

the general public doesn't give a rat's fucking shit ass about the 2nd amendment, hollow-point bullets, .50 call rifles blah, blah. Why are we so fucking dumb as to believe that they give a shit?????

Re: Anyone can buy guns, no questions asked

It sucks. I really dislike how they say it will shoot a airplane down. Heck if you get very lucky sure even a 22lr can poke a hole in the radiator of any of the P-51’s. Look how many rds it takes to take out a FW190, P47, the list goes on and on. There is something to be said about I gave him the whole 9 yds.
