Anyone deal with Odin works customer service?

Ive had the misfortune of doing so. I have their O2 lite rail... After swapping it around a few times and making sure to not overtighten, the steel screws stripped in the aluminum barrel nut... No biggie.. I reach out and they send out the parts to replace it. Except, they dont send all the parts.. Its a 2 piece barrel nut.... So, I reach back out, they're cool and send me the missing barrel nut piece.... except.......they send me one for a 308.......... and it wont work.

This will be my 2nd trip back to UPS for them as I have to send all broken or wrong pieces back to them and my rifle has been down for 2 weeks..

I love the rail, but someone on the other side of the computer screen is a little we-tod-ded

It sounds like their customer service is doing the right thing, only mistakenly sending you the wrong part. At least they communicated with you. There are some actual horror stories out there.

So, the complaint is they did not send all the pieces and then one was the wrong size?

Yes I did. I also ordered through them, so they have my order number and can see the exact rail I have.

I know it could be worse, but it still kind of baffles me that its going to HOPEFULLY take 3 tries from them and 2 trips for me to mail their shit back to get me a barrel nut for their rail

I can not get the person I’m emailing to understand what fucking part I need.

There are 3 parts that come with this rail…. Adapter, nut and screws… they’ve sent 2 of those along with the 308 nut. She does not understand that I need the fucking nut for ar15.

How does the tech support not know what comes with their rails…. They now want me to ship back the 308 nut as well since I don’t need it.

Fuck this stupid ass company. Fuck their rail too. In the trash it goes.

Time to hunt down something from a better company.

Totally off subject. My mother's father was from Germany. My grandmother had English heritage. My father was a mix of English, Irish, and Scottish.

At one time, I was working on a new school and the proj supt in charge of masonry named Bobby. He immigrated from Scotland 20 years previous to that. We were talking about heritage and I said I was from the clan McCracken.

"Really?" he said.

"Yes," I replied. "Kiss McCracken."

"Well," he said, "My whole name is Bobby McCracken."

We got along fine. Being able to laugh at yourself is a strength.
