My wife is a large format photographer. Mostly art and architecture. Because of this she has some crazy precise and expensive equipment, stuff that makes long range shooting look like a cheap hobby.
So I've kind of wondered what I can repurpose here. For instance, she has many, many tripods, including a wooden tripod meant to support very heavy view cameras while minimizing ground vibration transmission through to the tripod head and camera. But even more interesting to me is her Arca Cube head, with very precise gearing for accurate adjustments.
