anyone have a 308 subsonic load

i just built my form 1 suppressor and i would like to try a subsonic load in it. i have a rock 1 in 11.25 twist barrel chambered 308.i would like to shoot 175 smks if possible.

Go with the 180 RN's.

Contrary to popular conception, the RN bullet at subsonic velocities is not anywhere near as bad as you would think.

Subsonic form drag and supersonic form drag are 2 completely different animals. The RN bullets will do a very nice job.

TrailBoss is a good powder to look at.

+1 on the RN.
At sub-sonic velocity stability factor is more important than B.C. Also, because you start slow, you want to keep as much velocity retained as possible. - Therefore heavier bullet.

I tried some 220 grain RN at 100 yards (no can) and the noise generated by the bullet stiking the plywood target backer was much greater than the muzzle blast!
