Anyone have an 18 inch 700 in an AICS?

looking for pics of an 18 inch Vs 20 inch and how small they fold up. I wouldn't think there would be a noticable difference in accuracy Vs the two. maybe 50 FPS difference in speed. I really didnt care for how an 18 looked in an A5, but 20 looked ok. Debating how 18 would look in the AICs.

I have a 17" and will likely put it in an Manners folder. Should fold up to 27-28 inches.

18.5" + surefire brake (think it adds about 1-5/8")

how do you like the surefire brake? Thinking about doing 18.5 plus a badger micro fte or just 19 inches

I have several rifles with the surefire break. Also had a GAP Gladius which comes with the break installed. Great reduction in recoil but with it being 18" it was a loud little stick. But with the option of a suppressor the sound can be toned down greatly. Highly rec. the SF break.

Will that Surefire brake work on a Remington AAC-SD or is the barrel diameter too great for the sleeved portion of the brake?

16 inch with a AAC 51T muzzle brake so it's right at 18 inches in overall length to give you an idea.

Same unit with the tube being 20inches.
