OK, I've got my hot bluing tanks set up but I am looking for some heavy iron wire to hang barreled actions on to dip into the salts or something else. I am asking for Ideas or input on what anyone here uses.. Remember you can't just use any metal has to be iron or maybe stainless.. I can't seem to find anyone who sells it in only about a ten foot length.. I can make at least three hangers with ten feet.. Any Ideas?

Re: anyone here do hot bluing?

Stove wire obtained from you local hardware store.

Bailing wire works too if you live in an area that has people using the old wire tie bailers.

Auto parts stores carry tie wire (safety wire), its thinner.

All are steal.

Simple test, If it attacts a magnet, you can put it in the tank, if it don't.

Also known in some parts as "Mechanic's Wire". Comes in a roll. Very cheap.

Should actually be called "Muffler Mechanic's Wire", as it is mostly used to tie busted exhaust systems back up, to get you to the muffler shop, but that's another story.
