Re: Anyone in NORTHEAST OHIO???
hey I just moved to Arizona but I shot out at Lawrence county sportsmens assoc. just outside of new castle. cost is $170 to join then $70 every year after. top notch facility with a large operating budget so the place stays in great shape, especially with a full time maintenance staff. They have a 600yd rifle range with quality steel target stands that hold plywood for you to attach your paper targets too. plus steel gongs at the 100,200,300,400,500 yard lines. multiple pistol bays, 2 trap ranges , 4 skeet ranges, a 5 stand range, 22 steel target course with multiple stations (very challenging) and a pistol steel course. IDPA matches every month and varmint matches on the rifle range every month during shooting season, oh, and the best sporting clays around. also, 24 hour access via a electronic key card that slips in your wallet that will unlock the gate and clubhouse. hands down best sportsmans club In the immediate area around ytown.
www.shootlcsa.com is their website.
Down near alliance is another club called "Malvern" something, the full name is hard to remember at the moment, it will come to me, but they have a 1000yd range ( target pits and all).
Or for the best overall shooting experience, drive 80 mins south to Tom Sarvers range, Thunder Valley Precision. Check out their thread under the tactical competition forum, those guys will take great care of you and I guarantee you will learn more in one day of shooting there then you will in one year of shooting locally. I certainly did!
