Rifle Scopes Anyone know what these rings are?

I brought a old scope today from a market for like $30. It's an old 6x32 I got for my enfield .303. Glass looked good so I'm going to give it a crack n see how it goes on the old shooter. The scope brand is some thing I've never heard of looks like its called a "sunrise 6x32 Japan". The rings however I don't need and I have no idea what they're off! They look really strange to me and I've never seen anything with this sort of set up before. They also seemed to be set up for side mount the way they were attached to the scope.

Interesting.
They look like dovetail mount rings that are windage adjustable.
