Bumping this thread. I got an email from Bill at the beginning of June that said he was close. He also said that response was overwhelming, and that I was in the top 25%. I hate to bother him again, so I’m asking if anyone here has received one. Thanks,
I have serial #7. They are absolutely incredible. Mine is a two stage. 8oz/8oz. The quality, the craftsmanship, and the instructions he provides, are all top notch. Definitely worth the wait. Mine has ran flawlessly since day one and I probably have 3k rounds down range with it by now.
I had the yodave spring in my OEM trigger and had spent way too much time monkeying with the adjustments. The SCAR trigger is night and day difference and runs perfectly every single time. Dropped in my bravo chassis with zero additional inletting required.

im on the list also... last word i got (may 29) .. he was finishing up a batch of 200 ..and would start filling orders late june or early july.. i was like 105 in line.. hoping to hear something any day...
Never shot a two stage trigger that light. Seems like it would be difficult to hit the second stage without accidentally firing the rifle.
I’m getting mine as a single stage and as light as it will go, I think he said 3oz. My 457 is used as a benchrest only rifle.
The trigger as I have mine set up is really a 1lb total pull weight as far as safety is concerned. That said, the shooter only feels and recognizes half that (8oz) as you forget about the first stage you are holding before pressing through to the break.
These triggers are so good. Even as a two stage at 8oz/8oz, the wall is hard as a rock before the 2nd stage. It just doesn’t take much to break through. Scar’s trigger is so good that you can release it at the wall and it will spring back to the start of the first stage perfectly each and every time. Many two stage triggers set this light don’t have enough ooomph to reset the first stage without cycling the bolt.
Proper trigger finger mechanics are required and of course muzzle discipline is always demanded, but in my opinion, the two stage trigger is the best way to get a light “target” trigger in a gun meant to move about in positional shooting.
The F class guys are at 2oz in a single stage. Now that is a hair trigger.

I am used to two stage triggers from years of shooting service rifle and I firmly believe they are the best trigger system for shooting without a bench. When I shot smallbore I also used a two stage but the second stage was about one pound. I found that I did not want it much lighter for three position.
Got mine last week… after a little adjustment to take out some travel … it’s GREAT… couldn’t be more happy..
I got #18 - this trigger is as good as it gets! 4oz / 4oz on Benchrest 457 MTR. I love everything about it. It is a little better than my 2 stage Trigger Tech Diamond on my Vudoo also set at 4/4. The curved blade is art. My walnut stock needed a bit of inletting and his instructions are great. Scar is a master.
I got mine today! 3oz. Single stage. Now I have to decide which rifle to put it in. I wonder how much harder it would be to inlet a VPT stock?
I've got #3 and just installed it today; I've spent most of the year gone or just plain busy. I just finished playing with a tuner which made a decent difference so we'll see if this trigger cleans my gun up some more. Initial impression is really good: easy install, good trigger geometry, and really clean 1lbs/1lbs.
I got my 3oz. single stage installed last night. The install was simple enough, but inletting the Manners stock was a little unnerving, not too bad though. The trigger is light. I can touch it without it going off, but ANY applied pressure will do it. I like it a lot. My first time shooting it will be at this weekend’s ARA match. I’m shooting a different gun in the match, but unless I’m leading (not probable, but quite possible) I’ll break it out.
Yeah, a Dremel will make ugly quickly and usually won't Dremel stocks but I was able to use the bottom of the trigger inlet as a guide to control the tool and it was a quick, clean cut.
I got out and shot mine a little last night just before sundown but winds were gusting pretty good so I just practiced alts. I really prefer a two stage for that type of shooting and this is exactly what I have been missing in the CZ. I'll get a little shutting in every evening this week in prep for the Guardian GTI team match.

When I asked about trigger pull weight he said I could choose what ever I wanted and he would set it up that way.
I have a two-stage 1lbs/1lbs that I really like so far. It feels much lighter and cleaner than the factory model I had adjusted as best I could. The Scar also has a really good flat trigger geometry that works better for me than the factory trigger.
Thank you, I run SSA & SSA-E triggers on my ARs so this is a lot different than what I’ve been shooting.
I’ve been on the list a while and was tempted to go with the Timney but the posts in this thread convinced me to wait.
I agree about the flat trigger. The factory one leaves a lot to be desired.
