As title says. I’m real curious after seeing all the members on here taking 22lr out to 300. Also not a lot of gun or ammo options yet so curious to it’s future.

I need 4.8mils of elevation and 0.1mils left wind on a normal summer day
Today I would need 6.6mils of elevation.
My range is 6110' above sea level
Yep, it's not a precision target cartridge.
Too many quality issues from the Winchester production line.
Primer variations, too much, too little, MV spread,
irregular brass/case mouths, bullet seating differences.
Fine for center of critter, just not ideal for punching paper.
Federal, Hornady 17 wsm are made by Winchester.
Same cartridges, different labels.
I've tested all at 200 yards across a chronograph.
Definitely not my choice for dot drills.
About 95% of my shooting with the BMag has been at a Bison silhouette at 300yds that has a targetable area that's 5.4" x 8".
The silhouette is 10" x 8"
