Rifle Scopes Anyone tried Zeiss flip up caps

I want some for my S5 and I'm wondering they're high quality. Aadmount aren't much more expensive, should I try and get those instead? The aadmount aren't listed on the website yet, but maybe if I give the owner some measurements, he will make them.

I run the Zeiss ones on my S3 and they are high quality. Come with the Allen to adjust them and fits the rest of the scope too.

Check with MKM for their caps. Better than. AAD

The Zeiss ones I had held an extra battery in the objective cap

@secondofangle2 I have both MKM and Aadmount caps. In my opinion the Aadmounts are better. They seem more solid and don't flop around in the wind like the MKMs do.

Have them on my S3 6-36. Very high quality. I really love how the Torx wrench is stored on them. Super handy.

The Zeiss branded caps are great.

I seem to recall reading a post here on the Hide that MKM actually makes the caps for Zeiss.

The main difference between the MKM branded caps and the Zeiss branded caps is that the Zeiss branded caps have a tensioning screw on each side of the cap. Also when the cap is open, there is a detent that holds the cover in place so that it does not move in the wind. Then there is the included wrench and battery holder in the Zeiss.

I have the MKM branded caps on my Leica and ZCO. There are times when I wish that they had the detent to keep the covers from moving in the wind.

Yeah MKM makes the Zeiss caps. Or at least did for a while
