Anyone use a Lyman Gen5

Been using a Lyman Gen5 powder dispenser for about 8 years. Today had it setup and calibrated, double checked with my balance beams. Was running spot on. Then it started throwing heavy and I mean heavy. Cannot get it to calibrate. Anyone have any experience with one of these?

I've got one I bought second hand. If the scale won't calibrate then dispensing will be crazy.
Clean and check scale for performance.

Mine acts up due to worn seals and ball powder.

Well did receive an email from Lyman. Will give the a call next week at least see what kind of discount they offer.

That scale is discontinued so there isn’t many troubleshooting steps you can try. Our scale tech is out until Monday, but I would suggest calling next week and asking for Cathy.

If she cant fix it, they can discount the price of a new scale at a discounted price.

Finally got this thing to zero and it’s throwing very accurate charges. Double checked against the balance beams . What I did after reading the posts above was to get the air over to it and blow it out really well. It seems some extruded powder had wormed its way under the scale platform. I’m glad to have it working again
