Limited to these options based on threading (9/16) Suppressed also not an option. I have a APA micro bastard gen 3. Tames muzzle flip but sends a lot of blast and concussion back at the shooter. Is the the PVA Backcountry or Jetblast a big improvement in concussion blast at shooter? Or pretty much the same

I have a mini bastard Gen 3 on my hunting 6.5 creed and an ultralight jetblast on my 300 wsm. I always shoot with ears on when shooting them, and I don’t notice a significant shooter blast difference. I feel like the jetblast does well enough on my 300wsm for hunting purposes. If you’re looking for the most possible recoil reduction, the bastard line is probably better

I have 4 JetBlast brakes because they dont have the same concussive blast that the APA brakes do. They prob dont kill the recoil as well but I'll take 90% of the recoil reduction to not have to deal with the concussion.

That's exactly what I was looking to hear. I'll definitely trade slightly more muzzle flip for less concussion

I would def stick with the Jet Blast brakes in the 3 port version though. I also had a Jet 4 brake (4ports) and it sucked.

I've also used a Shockwave on a friends 300PRC and it does a good job. I dont have much experience with other magnums to compare it to though.

The Jet Blast and Jet 4 are great at not sending blast back at the shooter and they are also very good brakes. I have quite a few of them.
