Due to the neverending rain the past couple of weeks and the forecast for this coming week I've decided to cancel my April Topstraps Rimfire Challenge. The ground is saturated and has water lying everywhere. The lower half of the range flooded from the two creeks converging down at the 150 yard line and left debris everywhere. It nearly washed out the two sets of culverts I have crossing the streams. Not a real biggie just have to wait a bit to dry up and get things cleaned up again. Will be ready for the match the second weekend of May unless the Eclipse brings on something terrible.
Hate to not have a shoot since everyone is probably chomping at the bit to get out, there are also at least 3 other shoots next weekend and the outlook is wet and cool. Give everyone a chance to hone those skills and get their name up on my ceiling next month.
I'll send out a notice for the May match. If anyone wants to come down to get/check settings that is fine, hopefully it'll start drying up in a couple weeks and get back to normal.
